Getting Started

  1. Sign up for an account
  2. Start editing. You can edit any existing page by clicking the "edit" links. To create a new page, make a link from an existing page, like this: [[a new page]] or type the name of the new page in your browser's address bar, e.g. http://immipedia.ca/my_new_page

There's lots more help on editing on the MediaWiki help pages (MediaWiki is the software this website runs on.)

What should I write about?

Any aspect of the Canadian immigration process. Try to start by tackling topics that lots of people will find useful - things that come up again and again on immigration discussion forums such as health care, legal status in Canada, leaving Canada during an inland application, immigration interviews, landing as a Permanent Resident, etc.
