Talk:Main Page
From Immipedia
Since CIC just changed its webpage, all the old links to CIC sites would not work. It seems that a lot of the changes involve simply renaming the extension ".html" at the end of the web address to ".asp". However, there are some more substantial changes that would require a small amount of detective work. Happy editing!
- Thanks, I've changed some, and I notice other people have been helping - thanks for that. Please change any others you notice. -- Matthew Carroll 03:30, 15 June 2007 (CEST)
Help with Forms
I was just thinking (after answering this question here) that it might be useful to have a page devoted to FAQs for each form. For example, everyone's always asking whether they need to include their sponsor in the Additional Family information. The one about the "date you became a citizen" comes up frequently, too.
How do you think this sort of thing should best be structured? One page per form ID (ie: IMM0008)? --AnitsirK 19:04, 19 July 2007 (CEST)
- I'd say one page per form, using the form number like you suggest, e.g. IMM 0008, with answers to common queries about how to complete the form plus a link to the actual form pdf on the CIC site. Some forms are relevant to more than one application class, so doing it that way the information doesn't need to be duplicated. A page for each immigration application class can list the relevant forms. --Matthew Carroll 02:37, 1 August 2007 (CEST)
